Biological and Medical Aspects of Electromagnetic Fields (Handbook of Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields, 3Ed) ReviewI am a physician doing research. As far as knowledge that this book represents in categorical manner from cell to tissue to clinical findings, I give this book 5/5. Even it referred back to 1930s and referred to pre antibiotic era and radiofrequency usage which those readings were awesome . Really thank you. I was still did not understand how to calculate watt/ cm ^2 or Joule /cm.
Despite all the elaborate formulas I had to refer to Internet to get some idea how to calculate it. Although Specific Tissue Absorption ( SAR) was discussed but it shows how inaccurate this SAR in real world is and with each tissue having different absorption rate , I bet each Labratory will give different numbers for it around the world including the inconsistency if angle of exposure to RF source.
Anyway it is a superb book, I am keeping it like a jewel.
