Futures Sown (The Time Entity Trilogy 3) ReviewThis nicely wraps up the series. It answers questions about the Pools of Death and Life Nest that I wondered about. It goes back to when the spider that sang Spidersong first hatched and to a time before the Jewel Trees were planted and there is a quest to find the seeds to plant them. (I think I figured out a secret not spelled out in the books. There are seven Jewel Trees and seven categories of magic so I think they relate.) Anyway the book explains the focus on twins. I guess a lot of books have twins in them, but this series really fixates on twins and this book pretty much explains why. I imagine the need to repopulate the Earth after the devastation is part of why most people born in certain places are twins. That's not spelled out but it seems like common sense. This book has the creation of Mirror Seed too. There are more cute little Pluie characters. Well, not all of them are cute because some of them are evil. I missed th e sasquatch called Noppi. He was only in the first book and I wanted to read about him again because he is such a good character. My favorite part of this book is the candy factory section. That is so fun and it was unexpected. That's not so much part of the wrap up but it was comic relief. This final book explains how time was built and why, and that is to give us second chances. That's a good idea and makes me hope it's true. I liked this book and I was happy to have the series wrap up so nicely.Futures Sown (The Time Entity Trilogy 3) OverviewWhat if Spidersong and the Jewel Trees never existed? Events might have taken a very different turn, and the place of refuge for mankind might never exist. In this final segment of the Time Entity Trilogy, the travelers must once again face a series of difficult and bizarre challenges in order to finally secure the safe haven. With the Time Entity still engaged in his quest to outmaneuver Death, the double twins once again traverse the Circles of Time to lay the foundation for the future. Joined by new friends, and familiar faces, their path takes them to a valley of clouds, through a deserted underwater city, and into a realm riddled by fire tornadoes and earth tremors. They must also pass an unusual test in a candy factory in order to complete their quest to locate the seeds to plant the Jewel Trees. Similar to their bargain to obtain the Eternity Stone, the travelers once again feel conflicted when called upon to help create Mirrorseed, the evil fortress of elf enchantments and experiments. However, under the guidance of the Fate Entity, they are eventually able to understand that even some very unpleasant things are meant to be.
