The Heart of Lichien ReviewDon't let the fact that this book is 602 pages daunt you. By the time you get to Page 602, you'll be begging for more.The author lures you into "The Heart of Lichien" right from the beginning. From page one you're drawn into Kellen's world, which leads to all the other characters, all of whom are richly drawn, each with their own unique past with mysterious hints that leave you wanting to know more.
Not only do the characters have heart and depth but the universe of Sennovia and its history will draw you in as well with its myths and legends and sorcery and magic and the thrill of battles lost and won. Will good win over evil? And how much will Kellen and his friends lose in the winning?
In the same vein as "Lost", the author answers one question only to leave you with another. Her adventuresome group of characters leave you wanting to spend much more time in the Sennovia universe, just as Weis and Hickman do with the Dragonlance series. There is that same sense of grand adventure in "The Heart of Lichien." Of an adventuring group that don't always see eye to eye but don't cross one of them or you'll answer to the others.
