Scrabble Platinum Edition with Rotating Board ReviewScrabble is, well, Scrabble. Enough reviews have been written about Scrabble that I'll try to avoid duplication.
This particular set is reasonably well made. The board is sturdy, although plastic, and the recessed squares for letters are invaluable on a tossing boat, they'd also be usefull for tremors as one in our location has.
The holders, letters and pedestal all are substantial - it's now almost three months into ownership and its still intact - the box is sturdy, if large, and its easy to re-pack.
It was expensive for a game [personal and relative opinion], more than we've ever paid before, but this one really appears to be a case of you get what you pay for.
If you want a very functional Scrabble game that looks set to last years with even minimal amount of care, then this could be ideal. If you need to show and display try the Onyx or Franklin Mint versions.Scrabble Platinum Edition with Rotating Board Overview
