The Heart Stone ReviewThis is the first book we have read by this writer and it's a good one. Its fun and fierce. There are plenty of surprises in the story and you soon get hooked. We liked it because it has many fantastic characters, but the main character is a young girl called Susan who has some problems. Without telling you the story, she finds herself in the middle of an adventure facing much bigger problems. Along the way she finds courage to help herself and those who need her. The fairys in the story are neat, and characters like Rocky , Hawthorne and the twins are adorable. At the center of the story is the Heart Stone, and a surprising hero emerges at the most hopeless point of the battle between the fairys and the negs. . Cool, that the book has some pictures too. Happy reading. The Heart Stone OverviewDarkness has fallen upon The Realm of the Faeries. Spawned from the dark energy emanating from Earth, evil creatures invade their world, intent on destroying the peaceful and gentle Faerie race. Somewhere between the realms of Earth and Faerie lie the answers. A young, imaginative girl is called upon to help the endangered faeries regain what was rightfully theirs. Bullied by girls at school, Susan Grey finds herself catapulted from her everyday existence into the midst of an other-worldly battle between good and evil. With the help of her few trusted friends, Susan is asked to aid Queen Iridaan and her beloved faeries battle the creatures that threaten their very existence. However, should the faerie's ancient Heart Stone be lost in battle then so will all hope for faerie and humankind!ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Raynor Woods has enjoyed writing for twelve years.
