Dondobee: or The Adventures of a Leolian Elf ReviewThis is a funny, fast reading adventure about an elf. However, I see it as an allegory about the evils of big government. Dondobee cares for his King and Queen and the castle, by giving them all they want or need magically. However, when the Queen's nephew and wife inherit it all, they don't understand how it all works. Due to their ignorance they capture Dondobee, or over throw the government. They imprison him, thereby destroying the magic that runs the castle. All the gifts, governmental handouts, disappear and the castle crumbles. However, the Nephew and his Nelly live happily ever after fending for themselves. Just my observations.Dondobee: or The Adventures of a Leolian Elf Overview
