The Eternity Stone (The Time Entity Trilogy 2) ReviewI liked this continuation of the Time Entity adventure. I was surprised that the characters of the original book are now grandparents and their grandchildren (teenage twin girls and twin boys) are the new adventurers out to save mankind from a possible terrible future. Thanks to their heroic actions (along with clever and creative thinking) they are able to accomplish their goals. One of the most surprising aspects of this is when the grandparents (courtesy of the Time Entity) end up back in time as their younger selves where they have a totally different set of adventures than they had in the first book. This changes their future but not drastically enough to mess things up thank goodness. Once the twin sets of twins (and the grandparents) have their adventures, they have to find the island that is mankind's future. They do this using clues they were given in their travels. This book was shorter than the first in the series but was action packed and fun, and very clever. I can't wait to read the next book. I think this would be a good book for anyone that likes time travel, adventure, and/or fantasy books. The Time Entity Trilogy (Heaven's Jewel, The Eternity Stone, Futures Sown) ReviewI liked the interesting characters and settings and this is a unique version of time travel. It has a lot of symbolism and philosophy mixed with the action.Besides being one of the better sci-fi books I have read I like the relationships between the siblings. I have twin siblings and they definitely acted like this when we were growing up. It's like I got to reminisce. They are all striving to prove themselves and cope with difficulty. They have the normal arguments especially with relatives close in age.The kids in this book have responsibility and act with independence, but their elders are still in the background so it's like they have some supervision. That's not true in a lot of kids books. The whole story spans three generations. The grandchildren of the original characters have the most adventures but the older characters are still active in the last two books. This would appeal to a range of readers. I think kids would like it.
