World of Warcraft: Stormrage ReviewThis book does a few things really well and a lot of things wrong which is why I'm giving it two stars.
On the up side the author clearly did their homework on the WoW world. Lots of names and locations pop up in the story and I really liked that I could go "Oh, my character has been there!" or "The person gave my character a quest." So it's pretty easy to get into the world and get excited about the backdrops.
Now without going into major spoilers there were also lots of nice moments mixed in like people from all the races having to band together to fight a common threat (WoW loves that theme), getting to see a runestone in a story and the short but very cool appearance by Sylvanas Windrunner.
So while the feel of the WoW world is really well done the characters and the story aren't. Some of the most powerful people in WoW are taking on a single threat that they end up being able to do almost nothing about. Until the very end pretty much everyone is at best holding line or running away. Seriously, the heroes of this novel run away in the course of one story than Shaggy and Scooby do in the whole history of Scooby Doo.
It got to the point where the last 100 pages where just a slog and I was happy to just be done with the book so I could go read something else. "Lord of the Clans" this ain't.

Many are the mysteries surrounding the Emerald Dream and its reclusive guardians, the green dragonflight. In times past, druids have entered the Dream to monitor the ebb and flow of life on Azeroth in their never-ending quest to maintain the delicate balance of nature.
However, not all dreams are pleasant ones. Recently the Emerald Nightmare, an area of corruption within the Emerald Dream, began growing in size, transforming the Dream into a realm of unimaginable horror. Green dragons have been unexpectedly caught up in the Nightmare, emerging from it with shattered minds and twisted bodies. Druids who have entered the darkening Dream lately have found it difficult -- sometimes even impossible -- to escape.
Nor are these the Nightmare's only victims: more and more people are being affected. Even Malfurion Stormrage, first and foremost of the druids on Azeroth, may have fallen victim to this growing threat. As uncontrollable nightmares spread across the world, a desperate quest begins to find and free the archdruid.
Soon nature's enemies will learn the true meaning of the name STORMRAGE

WarCraft Archive ReviewThe Warcraft Archive is nice just because it's a cheaper alternative to purchasing all the books contained within, however none of the stories will leave you either amazed or enthralled. If you're a big fan of the Warcraft universe like I am then you'll want to pick this book up just read some of historic bits and pieces, and also to immerse yourself into the world of Azeroth. World of Warcraft: Night of the Dragon ReviewFirst off, I really like Richard Knaak as an author, and I love the Warcraft books in general. However, this book seems really rushed, and the plot suffers for it.

Pluses:

-Knaak has given us some great characters, and its fun to read about their contining adventures.
-Fast paced story. I was able to knock it out in no time. The story keeps moving without any slow sections.
Minuses:
-Weak plot. All the characters were brought together haphazardly.
-Typical plot devices are used. Knaak suffers from the same issue that Tolkien had with Gandalf in LOTR. He created a character powerful enough to pull the protagonists out of any situation, but in doing so, he has to create reasons that character isn't always there (or is weakened) so they don't always save the day.
-New characters are 2 dimensional. didn't care about 'em at all. Very simplistic backgrounds and motivations.
On the whole it was a good book, and I will read the next one in the series, but I hope it's a little better thought out.

World of Warcraft: Wolfheart ReviewWolfheart is a fairly good palate cleanser after 'Thrall' where it's much less about one man trying to save the world, then people trying to hold onto, or get back what they've once had.
Like usual Knakk knows how to write action like nobody's business, with gut wrenching action both on and off the battlefield. All the characters are already fairly established in lore, so there's not much need for extensive character building, and this book does help fill in and resolve things going on Alliance side after the cataclysm.World of Warcraft: Wolfheart OverviewNew York Times bestselling author Richard A.
