Gentleman and the Faun ReviewI tracked this book down after hearing about ROC in one of my favorite movies, My Dinner with Andre. But the more and more I read pieces tangentially related to that film (such as Wallace Shawn's book of essays), the more I realize that I really just like the film itself. This is an interesting version of an encounter with a faun, but doesn't go into the more interesting things that I wanted to know about ROC, such as what he does to keep his imagination "clear." Still, I'm glad I could find this on Amazon. Came from a bookstore in England, and arrived quickly.Gentleman and the Faun OverviewIn the "Scientist and the Faun" the reader follows Robert Ogilvie Crombie's (ROC's) experiences and encounters with Pan and the elemental kingdom in the Botanic Garden in Edinburgh and the path that led him from there to the Findhorn Community where he encountered more elementals and fauns. In one conversation with Pan at the Botanic Garden ROC talks about other people being jealous of his abilities and asks why he is able to see Pan and the elemental kingdom and receives this reply from Pan: Communicating with my subjects is not a garden game for the odd half hour when there is nothing better to do. It is of vital importance for the survival of mankind. Unless humanity comes to realize the dangerous stupidity of outraging nature and stops the ever-increasing rate of pollution it will ultimately destroy itself. Seeking cooperation between the three kingdoms - the Devic, the Nature and Humanity's, as is an aim at Findhorn, is one way of helping mankind to survive. ROC gave many lectures over the years on his experiences with the nature kingdoms all of which have been incorporated into this new book. This book includes new material by David Spangler, Dorothy McLean and other Findhorn community members sharing their experiences of ROC and his abilities.

Destiny's Warriors, Vol. 1, Special Edition Review
Destiny's Warriors begins when an archaeologist, Ferrin, falls asleep in a forest of modern Ireland. Suddenly, he is transported hundreds of years into the past to the town of Erui. There he meets Paddy, an innkeeper, and Paddy's beautiful daughter, Rowena.
They help him adjust to life in Erui, where he feels strangely at home. When he encounters a druid, Wolf, and begins visiting him in his cave, he hears wonderful stories of ancient gods and goddesses who were worshipped by the Celts in days gone by. These stories are the focus of the novel, as we learn of the immortals, and their all too human frailities: greed, lust, betrayal and heartache. We follow them through the generations as we wonder what is going to become of them, and what is Ferrin's destiny in all this? It's a fascinating and enthralling tale, and the pages seem to fly by. Complexity adds depth to the novel, but never keeps you from understanding and enjoying it. Destiny's Warriors will entertain you and leave you wanting more.
Destiny's Warriors, Vol. 1, Special Edition OverviewDestiny's Warriors -- Special Science Fiction Edition (1st in the Series)Human Sacrifice... was mortal man no more than mere cattle for the ancient gods? Did the Sun Goddess and the God of the Moon, the Great Samhain merely harvest humans to satisfy an addition to quickening? Destiny's Warriors answers these questions. Ferrin Collins, archaeologist and professor living in modern day Belfast, goes out to explore for a possible dig-site and dozes off in the woods, dreaming as always of another time and place. When he awakes, he is in the past in ancient Ireland, with no idea how he will get by! Somehow, he stumbles onto his Destiny in the town of Erui. Ferrin meets a Druid called Wolf, who seems oddly familiar. During their time together, Wolf tells him the tale of Destiny's Warriors which is a tale of betrayal, murderous plots and revenge. What ensues is an exhilarating journey into the horrors of human sacrifice. Destiny's Warriors inspires its readers to empathize with the characters while they try to survive in an ancient, harsh world of magic, mystical creatures, horrific monsters and the brutality of war. Also available on Amazon: Destiny's Warriors The Beginning Book 1 and Destiny's Warriors The Last Sacrifice Book 2 in the series.

Saving the Rainbow: A Patrick O'Sullivan Novel ReviewThis is an amazing adventure book that will more than appeal to middle-grade boys who have even the slightest sense of adventure - or just enjoy a good story.
Patrick O'Sullivan is a boy, the son of a simple potato farmer, who dreams of great adventures, and even goes out to create them. He pulls his best friend Barry reluctantly along with him. He thinks it's a grand adventure when he meets a faery named Elianne, but that doesn't compare to the adventure he gets when he meets the Leprechaun Grady. Grady tells him he needs Patrick's help to get the rainbow and pot of gold back from the trolls who have stolen it.
From faeries to elves to leprechauns, trolls, river monsters and witches, this books has a fairytale character for everyone. If you've ever wondered about the pot at the end of the rainbow, and what would happen if it were taken away, here's your story.
While I can guarantee the appeal of this book to boys between the ages of 8-14, I quite enjoyed it myself - and I'm a forty-something mom. It reminds me of the tales I used to tell my own sons when they were small. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a good adventure story.Saving the Rainbow: A Patrick O'Sullivan Novel OverviewTwelve-year-old Patrick is a bored, potato farmer's son, irritated with his sister's nagging and his ordinary life.He dreams of adventure, but never expects these dreams to come true until he meets a leprechaun named Grady.Grady needs Patrick's help to rescue the rainbow, that has been stolen by trolls, along with the pot o' gold. After studying the boy from afar, Grady knows he's just the lad that will be up to a challenge like this.Aye, it was lucky he caught sight of the laddie in the first place.Patrick thinks of himself as fearless, especially after putting the frog in ole Ms. Flannigan's school satchel, so he's more than ready to go along on such a quest. The two set off on a journey across the Irish countryside, venturing into the demon-filled Black Forest where the trees come to life at sunset. They must cross a precarious foot bridge, face dark caves and are attacked by angry owls before Patrick endures the ultimate test of battling the trolls for the rainbow and pot o' gold. Will Patrick really be brave enough to rescue the rainbow?SAVING THE RAINBOW is a magical tale for children and young adults. It explores the nature of fantasy and reality, safety and danger, and what it means to grow up.

Trolls, Elves and Fairies Coloring Book (Dover Pictorial Archives) ReviewI have to say, of all the coloring books I purchased for a 2-3 year old this was the one most loved by the adults. The child was happy with all of them, Disney, animals, butterflies, and this in an equal manner... but the grown ups thought this was wonderful. If you have a child who likes fantasy themes, or a teenager who happens to enjoy coloring, or even if you just like coloring books this one is definately a must.Trolls, Elves and Fairies Coloring Book (Dover Pictorial Archives) OverviewA wonderland of wee folk, this imaginative coloring book is populated by gremlins, pixies, giants, and other fantasy characters. In addition to mermaids, leprechauns, and other familiar creatures, these 29 images encompass a variety of lesser-known spirits. Colorists of all ages are certain to fall under the spell of these beguiling images.

Field Guide to the Little People: A Curious Journey Into the Hidden Realm of Elves, Faeries, Hobgoblins & Other Not-So-Mythical Creatures ReviewIn the Field Guide of the Little People, Nancy Arrowsmith present you the dark but marvelous world of the little people. If you are interested to learn about these creatures from the lore of Northern Europe, this book is a must for you. Now, be forewarned that these you'll not find in a Disney movie, but in the original stories collected by the Brothers Grimm.
This book organizes the little people into three main groups: Light Elves, Dark Elves and Dusky Elves. This classification fits the creature nature and place they habitat. However, you will notice that the vast majority of creatures shown in this book is comprised of Dusky Elves. There is a good reason for this as, according to the author, these creatures are easier to identify due to the limitations in the environment where they live.
For every creature listed, there is a description which include information such as physical description and habitat, and a wonderful illustration. These black and white sketches, by Sabrina the Ink Witch, help to set an atmosphere where you can catch a glimpse of these creatures. Even in some instances, there is a brief story included, which fleshes out the encounters of human with such creatures.
This is a marvelous book to have at hand when your interest turns towards the little people, but you will find out it is very difficult to put away once you start reading.Field Guide to the Little People: A Curious Journey Into the Hidden Realm of Elves, Faeries, Hobgoblins & Other Not-So-Mythical Creatures OverviewIn high summer meadows, nestled in the moors, near old castles, or behind the kitchen stove—these are the places where the Little People may be found.
Make the acquaintance of White Ladies and Red Caps, Church Grims and Hobgoblins, English Fairies, Leprechauns, Sirens, Hey-Hey Men, and all of their strange and mythical kin. Become wise in the ways of these magical creatures, some beautiful and benevolent, others cunning, menacing, or morose.
For many years, this field guide has been as elusive as a Will-o'-the-Wisp. This is the first opportunity for fans to once again own an English-language edition of one of the most revered introductions to elf folk ever written.
Featuring more than 80 new illustrations

"Rationalists, materialists, be forewarned: the ancient forces governing earthly incident and momentum lie neither in our heads nor our economics, but, rather, in the revelations fromA Field Guide to the Little People." —The New York Times

Lucinda's Secret: Movie Tie-in Edition (The Spiderwick Chronicles) ReviewThe mysterious tale of the Spiderwick legacy continues in the third installment of the Chronicles, as the twins Jared and Simon Grace and their elder sister Mallory run into more members of the faery world in their ongoing study of great, great uncle Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Faery World.
After moving into the Spiderwick Estate with their divorced mother, the three siblings found the secret library of Arthur, who vanished several years ago, leaving only his comprehensive guide to the faery world that surrounds his home. It is this world that the Grace children are gradually getting to know, and already they have a couple of brownie/boggart and hobgoblin friends and an injured griffin in the barn. But it just so happens that after centuries of abuse and destruction, the faeries aren't so keen on humans learning about their world once more, and so are out to stop them by any means possible. Mallory and Simon are rather keen on ridding themselves of the Guidebook and thereby getting themselves out of trouble, but Jared, who feels the study of faeries is the only thing he's been really good at refuses, and instead suggest visiting great-aunt Lucinda, the daughter of Arthur Spiderwick, who might have some answers to their questions.
From the visit at the old person's home to the discovery of an old map in Arthur's libary, the three children decide to set out and discover what actually happened to Arthur. This leads them to the riddle-speaking Phooka (one of the book's best characters yet!) and the court of the noble, beautiful, but extremely suspicious elves, who are the guardians of the realm of faery, and not at all pleased that humans have breached their domain...
I am loving the Spiderwick Chronicles, and personally can't wait until the next installment "The Ironwood Tree" is published, as it promises even more faeries, including dwarfs! As the poem at the back of "Lucinda's Secret" says: "And beneath the old quarry, just outside of town, lives a king with a kingdom, but who wears the crown?" It is almost cruel that publishers make us wait so long.
To a point, "Lucinda's Secret" was not quite up to the success of the two previous books, as the story was quite clearly split into two: the visit to the nursing home, and the trek into the faery realms. Perhaps if they had found the map earlier, and shown it to Lucinda, the book would have felt more fluid. As such, I'm getting a tad concerned at the outcome of this series - its been established that there's only five books in the series, but so far more and more characters and situations are being introduced, with nothing really getting resolved. On top of the theme of the children inflicting on the secret world of the faeries (a theme I thought was more than enough to carry the series along) there were hints here that a good and evil plot strand is arriving soon, with mention of one Mulgarath the ogre gathering malevolent forces to him. Of course, its rather useless worrying about it yet, but I'd hate to be disappointed in this great series, and the sheer shortness of the books (I read "Lucinda's Secret in half an hour) means that there's a lot of ground to cover in the remaining two books, and I'd hate to see Thimbletack, Hogsqueal, Byron or the Phooka shortchanged in wrapping up the story.
Likewise, the promised "Lucinda's Secret" wasn't so much of a startling revelation than simply a little background to the Spiderwick family and reassurting what the children already know - not much of a secret! However, the faery lore that Holly Black places within the context of the story is truly wonderful - any long time scholars of faeries will delight in seeing the dangers of faery food, the technique of wearing one's clothes worn inside out, the faery use of stray sods and the power imbued in a name put to good use. And Tony DiTerlizzi's illustrations are an absolute delight. The beautifully clear and intricate pictures perfectly capture what the text describes, and creates what I consider the *real* nature of faery - not a silly, pretty little world, but quirky, intricate, and a little dangerous. Any fans of Brian Froud will adore Tony DiTerlizzi's drawings, and I myself almost wept with delight at his depiction of the unicorn - no sweet little pony, but small and stunted, with lion's paws and tail and a goat's beard: exactly how the original unicorns were depicted.
Finally, the presentation of the book is stunning, especially in regard to the way the author creates it as a 'real story', with the children of the story actually writing to the authors with their story (and their letter is included!) The Spiderwick Chronicles are perfect for bringing lore of faery to a new generation, and I can't wait for the next book!Lucinda's Secret: Movie Tie-in Edition (The Spiderwick Chronicles) Overview

True Tales ~ The Red Fairies ReviewThese tales are truly fantastic. I love them! The fact that there may be a lot of truth to them makes it even more engaging.True Tales ~ The Red Fairies OverviewThese are some of the original fairy stories behind popular modern fantasies like, “True Blood."Andrew Lang's Fairy Books constitute a twelve-book series of fairy tale collections. Although Andrew Lang did not collect the stories himself from the oral tradition, the extent of his sources, who had collected them originally (with the notable exception of Madame d'Aulnoy), made them an immensely influential collection, especially as he used foreign-language sources, giving many of these tales their first appearance in English. As acknowledged in the prefaces, although Lang himself made most of the selections, his wife and other translators did a large portion of the translating and telling of the actual stories. -From Wikipedia For more titles like this, type “dreamz-work" into the search field or go to http://dreamz-work.com

Earthbound ReviewArtemis Greenleaf (no relation to me!) has done a splendid job writing about an Irish girl who dies young and stays at the farm to watch over her sister and father. An interesting collection of friendly (and not so friendly!) spirits round out the story.
A nice story for all ages, with a few life lessons thrown in. Warmly recommended by me. Sudden Light: Donegal's NovelEarthbound OverviewSchuyler Ramsey just wants to be like the other kids in school. Too bad she's dead. She haunts a farm in windswept western Ireland, along with some of its previous inhabitants. When she partially materializes in front of her sister at breakfast, she is propelled on a quest to stop a fake TV psychic and ghost hunter from visiting the farm and stirring up trouble. Along the way, she visits a famous pirate, helps a mermaid rescue a basking shark from fishermen, and encounters Nicniven, queen of the dark elphs. But Schuyler soon finds that the Haunted Planet television show is the least of her problems. As her world unravels, can she find the strength to save her sister from a monstrous terror?

The Chosen Soul ReviewFirst off let me say, I am not sorry I purchased this book. It had such promise. The premise of the story was interesting and original, but that is where it ended. There was absolutely no character development what-so-ever. The main character Raven and her brother Loki are never really described beyond their looks and the occasional, they were twins so they always knew what the other was thinking. Has we never heard of show don't tell? I don't want to be told how devoted Loki was to his God, I want the author to show it to me. There also were characters that were introduced for no reason, they were simply there to fill a spot as a flat character. Take Summer for example, she started off as a possible love interest for Loki and then where did she go? She just vanished! If you are going to get your reader invested in a character the least you could do is tell us what happens with them!
Second, why is Raven always stuck in a spot where she is going to get raped? Seriously. I understand that she is supposedly the most beautiful woman on earth, but not every man is going to want to rape her. I was actually to the point where every single man introduced to us, besides her brother was lusting after her. I can not help but wonder if this is what the author thinks should happen to pretty girls. Cause it's not.
Third, and this is a spoiler alert, what is up with the ending? I literally wanted to throw my kindle when I read it. And all I can say is why? why? why? Why would your character all of a sudden just say, oh yeah the elf prince, he's kind of cool, I guess I'll settle for him. There is absolutely no reason behind this move at all. From the way the author developed Raven (what little she did) there is no motive for her to do this. There has to be a reason that your characters do the things they do. And frankly there wasn't. Did anyone else feel she got to the end and went, oh I've met my page limit let's just end it with Raven utterly giving up? Cause I did.
If you can help it just skip this book altogether. The Chosen Soul OverviewIt was a dark and stormy night when the Stranger came to call. Sarah Grey's second child was breached; the twin was going to die.The Stranger offered help.Twenty years later, Raven Grey, the second twin born on that fated night, is now an extraordinarily beautiful woman. With a gift. But what is the price to pay for that gift?If Raven and her brother can not escape the handsome and powerful elf prince, outwit the dark and dangerous bounty hunter, and defeat the ancient, mighty Death Mage - Raven is sure to learn just what that price is.And pay dearly.*****Heather Killough-Walden is a California native currently living in Texas with her husband and child. Schleich Falaroy ReviewFalaroy is simply amazing! My 4.5-year-old preschooler loves coming up with make-believe stories about fairies, knights, dragons and castles. I finally got her the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Fold-Out Princess Castle which is great value for what you get, and of fine sturdy quality. She needed some accessories to go with the castle and I came upon the Schleich series of figures and toys based on classic fantasy. Falaroy is a male fairy elf and the way he is depicted is amazing, the attention to detail deserves high praise. I actually consider the Schleich range of fantasy figures to be educational because my little one spends hours coming up with intricate plots involving fairy feasts, dragon fights [she's a girl too!], and weddings etc...I feel this stimulates her imagination and encourages creativity. Highly recommended!Schleich Falaroy OverviewFalaroy , the proud, young elf.
Falaroy rides like the wind. Despite his youth, hardly anyone can match him in horsemanship and elegance. Except maybe Feya who likes to challenge this noble elf to riding competitions. Secretly though, she admires him for his courage and determination. Falaroy captures the hearts of the elf girls by storm yet he is devoted to a single one, the chosen one. A long time ago, he lived in the South of Bayala, in the place where the two rivers meet. He came to the house of the summer elves to act as a brave companion to his princess in all her adventures. Soon, however, Falaroy must embark on a long journey by himself and survive many perils.

Schleich Oleana ReviewMy 4.5-year-old preschooler loves coming up with make-believe stories about fairies, knights, dragons and castles. She needed some accessories to go with the castle and I came upon the Schleich series of figures and toys based on classic fantasy. I loved the depiction of Oleana and she looks even better in reality. The attention to detail is amazing, and she comes with a horse. Oleana the elf can be detached from the horse, and I'd recommend getting a couple of other fairies too as they are all beautiful and unique, and they can all take turns riding each other's horses! Highly recommended!Schleich Oleana OverviewOleana, the flower elf rides on her foal decorated with flowers.
Oleana, the elf girl, is really crazy about flowers. That's why her fluffy wings are decorated all over with blossoms. Just like her white foal that she lovingly cares for. Sometimes Oleana even sleeps with the young horse in its stall and every day they both go riding across the meadows and through the forests of the elf kingdom. On her rides, Oleana takes this time to explore nature and when she finds especially pretty flowers, she picks a bouquet for her friends or decorates her precious foal with them.

Schleich Turag ReviewI bought this and a few other characters to go with my sons' new Schleich castle. All of the characters are honestly beautiful, very well-made and fun to play with. This guy in particular seems to come off of his horse somewhat easily, but my sons haven't complained about it at all, so maybe it's only something an adult would notice.
These are a little pricey, but I feel it's worth it. You definitely get what you pay for with toys, and with these, I expect them to last for a long time.Schleich Turag OverviewTurag, the dark army commander of the shadow elves.
With his glistening vambraces and greaves, Turag is always ready for battle. His pitch-black hair goes with his dark wings interwoven with silver just as it does with his night-coloured coat. Ephaam, his black horse is just as wild and fast as his master. Over the years, Turag's power and cunning have taken him to the head of the elf army. Just like Ophira, he seems to be a loyal subject of his Princess Nuray. But he also harbours, like many shadow elves, a dark secret.

Ophira ReviewI recently purchased the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Fold-Out Princess Castle which is great value for what you get, and of fine sturdy quality. My child needed some accessories to go with the castle and I came upon the Schleich series of figures and toys based on classic fantasy.
Now, we've got a range of good elves, and I thought it would be nice to balance that with the bad elves, especially when playing good vs evil sort of battles. Ophira is the secret one, the elf of intrigue, and fights on the dark side. I try to explain the background on these elves to my young child as we play with them so that she gets insights into their defining characteristics. The attention to details in these figures are amazing. I also rate the educational value of these figures as moderately high because of the imaginative play they inspire. Highly recommended!Ophira Overview

Schleich Elves: Marween ReviewWe love Schleich at our house. My six year old boy and four year old girl have quite a few Schleich pieces. We also have a lot of Papo figures. In general, we find that Schleich is superior to Papo in overall quality, detail, and durability. This particular elf and horse are together the most outstanding Schleich or Papo piece we have. Like all of Schleich horse and rider sets, the elf comes off the horse and can be played with separately. Marween is our favorite of our Schleich figurines because she is the most detailed, different, and whimsical. You can see the stitches on the seams of her delightful red and white striped tights. Her wings are transparent and amazing. A lot of the other elves have opaque wings and seem more serious and adult. She is able to stay on the horse by virtue of the wing positions as opposed to riding astride or side saddle. My kids love the fact that she is holding and looking at a raccoon. What a great idea to pair a realistic woodland animal with a fantastical fairy. The horse has a super ornate golden tapestry saddle that was a surprise as it couldn't be seen in the pictures. The horse is also, hands-down - the best and most detailed Schleich horse we have. Besides the saddle, the horse has some red and gold bands around its neck and legs and its mane falls over one of its eyes in a very sweet way. It is so cute and detailed and has a lot of personality. I like the fact that this elf is the most childlike and whimsical of the Schleich elves we have. (Although, I should say, Marween is still not a child. I wish Schleich would introduce some child elves or fairies that are as detailed as the rest of their toys.) In summary, Schleich rarely disappoints us, and this particular piece goes above and beyond. Marween is incredible.Schleich Elves: Marween Overview

Schleich Nuray ReviewNuray is a Shadow Elf princess of darkness. She's got red and black wings and comes off her horse. My only question is:Why doesn't she have legs? All the other Schleich elves who are sitting sidesaddle have legs, so why doesn't she? Other than this, Nuray is great. I have recently begun writing a book and I will probably film a movie in about a year (I have to make the set and everything.)I have all the elves and the two houses and the Oracle.Schleich Nuray OverviewNuray, the Princess of the shadow elves.
High up in the mountains lives the terribly beautiful princess of the shadow elves. There where the sun can't reach lies her home, Shadow Rock Castle. Nuray was once as cold-hearted as her mother. Yet she soon noticed that she was different/ Like the queens of the shadow elves used to be: dark, mysterious and high-minded. The price she pays for her lineage is that from time to time magic signs painfully burn through her chalk-white skin, thus announcing fateful changes. She is the only one who can reunite the kingdom of the shadow elves with the that of the summer elves and eventually usher in peace.

Schleich Bilara ReviewBilara is truly a hauntingly beautiful sorceress riding her dark unicorn. The detail that goes into every Schleich toy is amazing. The unicorn's hooves are a shiny copper color and his dark horn has faint sliver highlights. Also the unicorn is definitely a male...um lets put it this way, he is anatomically correct. Bilara sits firmly on her unicorn. She holds a lightly painted silver ball in front of her and she holds a shiny silver crystal ball staff close to her body (this picture makes the crystal ball staff shiny pink but the one I received was silver). On the opposite side of this toy it is just as detailed. Bilara's hood is long in the back and drapes over the unicorns body on the backside.
The only criticism I have about Bilara is the silver part of her wings. The paint job to me looks cheap as there is no texture there, all I see are sloppily painted black curves that I assume are suppose to give the illusion of feathers. In my opinion it takes away from the beauty of this piece. But it's just a small gripe, I am sure you will love this toy, especially if you are a unicorn lover! You just don't see to many dark unicorn figures.Schleich Bilara OverviewBilara balances on the back of her unicorn with wings extended and sceptre in hand.

Schleich Sera ReviewMy 4.5-year-old preschooler loves coming up with make-believe stories about fairies, knights, dragons and castles. I finally got her the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Fold-Out Princess Castle which is great value for what you get, and of fine sturdy quality. She needed some accessories to go with the castle and I came upon the Schleich series of figures and toys based on classic fantasy. I loved the depiction of Sera and she looks even better in reality. The attention to detail is amazing, and she comes with a horse. Sera the fairy can be detached from the horse, and I'd recommend getting a couple of other fairies too as they are all beautiful and unique, and they can all take turns riding each other's horses! Highly recommended!Schleich Sera OverviewSera, the delicate princess.
In the morning, as soon as the first rays of sun make the dew on the meadows of Bayala glisten, you can see Sera, lost in thoughts, roaming through nature. When she bends down for a rare flower or plucks some of the precious leaves off a medicinal plant, a smile caresses her countenance, brightening it as only sees in a princess. With her knowledge about the healing power of plants, she has already been able to magically help many an elf. All her love belongs to nature, animals and plants. Yet soon, Sera's sheltered life is about to change and this delicate princess will become a great adventuress.

Schleich Elves: Elf Riding Set Tinuveel ReviewUnlike the other Schleich Elves in this series, this one does not come with the horse that is in the picture. Let me repeat that, THE HORSE DOES NOT COME WITH THIS PACKAGE. Yes it is written in the product description that it, "Comes with: Tinuveel Elf, saddle, bridle and halter." But it is still very misleading when the highest priced character in this series is pictured with a horse, but it is the only one in the series that does not include one.Schleich Elves: Elf Riding Set Tinuveel Overview
